The universal remote controls several device types over Wi-Fi: Android TV / Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TV, LG TV and Roku. The remote adapts automatically to the connected device.
1. Prepare the device
- Make sure your phone and the device to control are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Turn the device on.
2. Scan and select
- On first launch, the app scans for every compatible device on the network, whatever their system.
- Pick yours from the list, or enter its IP address by choosing its type.
- Depending on the device, a pairing step may be required (code, PIN or on-screen authorization) — see the « Pair depending on the device type » article.
Once connected, the device is remembered: the app reconnects to it automatically on the next launch. You can switch between several devices from the selector at the top of the remote.
